    1. Introduction to the system
    The RD-800 four-probe surface resistance measuring instrument is a surface sheet resistance measuring instrument adopting the principle of four-probe measurement. It’s mainly used for measuring the sheet resistance of the conductive film layer, such as flexible material conductive film, metal coating or thin film, ceramic or glass etc. and Semiconductor materials such as conductive films (ITO films) or substrate with nanocoating.
    The RD-800 can be installed directly on the production line. The measuring probe has a built-in motor that can control the distance between the probe and the measured film layer through instructions. When the tested object is stopped under the RD-800, the RD-800 measurement probe can be controlled to contact the film layer through instructions. Then the sheet resistance of the film layer can be measured.
    The RD-800 has an RS485 communication interface and can directly communicate with PCs, SCM, PLCs, etc..
    PLC and PC can send measurement instructions directly to RD-800 through RS485, and RD-800 measurement data is returned after the measurement is completed.
